India level the Series 1-1

The Second T20 begin today at the Melbourne stadium.Australia lead the series 1-0.They come up for the second game here and won the toss, finally elected to bat first.

This time it was Warner and Finch combination to open the proceedings.Warner went out for after scoring 8 runs which made the team to get disappointed.Shaun Marsh came into the crease and he left it immediately without scoring.David Hussey and Finch showed some prickling shots but fell shortly after trying to build on a partnership.Finch went for 36 and Hussey went out for 24.Then the batting department did not do well against the Indian bowlers.Bailey, Marsh, Lee, McKay, Hogg, Doherty departed for scoring 3,13,6,0,4,1.The Man of the Match for the last game managed to score 32 runs at the end.Aussies managed only to score 131 runs at the end of 19.4 overs before they were wrapped up.

Chasing 132 for any team in T20 mode of competition is such an easy task and so did the Indian team.They had a wonderful opening which they did not even experience in this series.Sehwag was well supported by Gambhir and vice versa.After hitting two boundaries and a six, Sehwag departed for 23 runs in Hogg's spell.Virat Kohli and Gambhir managed to put a great stand as they both were flicking the ball around the ground.Bailey was surprised of some shots by the Indian batsman.Kohli finally departed for 32 runs.In came Indian captain Dhoni to give a company to Gambhir.Both of them seemed to finish off the game soon.Gambhir, meantime reached his fifty.Then the tension mounted in the last two overs as the Indian pair only scored 2 runs in nine balls.Finally with two balls remaining, India finished off the game in style while Gamhir hit the winning run.India scored 135-2 in 19.4 overs.

Man of the Match award was given to Ravindra Jadeja as he was splendid in his fielding and bowling performance.
